ABC News announced that its Sunday program This Week with co-anchor Jonathan Karl will feature exclusive interviews with three high-profile political figures: Rep. Ashley Hinson (R), identified as the Iowa Senate nominee; Josh Turek (D), also listed as an Iowa Senate nominee; and Maryland Gov. Wes Moore (D). The network described the conversations as exclusive to the program.
The broadcast will also include a “Powerhouse Roundtable” of commentators and former officials, ABC News said. Participants named in the announcement are Donna Brazile, former chair of the Democratic National Committee and an ABC News contributor; Chris Christie, former New Jersey governor and ABC News contributor; Patrick McHenry, a former North Carolina congressman and former House speaker pro tempore; and Michelle Cottle, a New York Times opinion political correspondent.
