Merry Christmas to Colombia’s heroes

Colombia’s heroes are many and their work and commitment to the nation and her people deserve praise throughout the year. For those who fight against corruption, those whose sporting achievements lift the country and those whose work goes unreported but not unnoticed, the gratitude is infinite.

Colombia Politics does not intend to list these folk here today, but instead we wanted to express our support for those who cannot be with their families this Christmas, those in the armed forces who fight for the country and for those kidnapped and still in the power of the FARC, the ELN, or any other group for that matter.

Our thoughts are too with the families of the victims of all criminal groups in Colombia, of the left, the right, and the non-politically motivated.

And a very merry Christmas to our readers. We hope when the clock strikes midnight tonight you have a great day with friends and family. Que Dios los bendiga.
